What Did Myra Hindley Do?

Late British Murderer, Myra Hindley, had connived with Ian Brady, to rape and kill five minors –  Pauline Reade, John Kilbride, Keith Bennett, Lesley Ann Downey, and Edward Evans – between 1963 and 1965.

They had also buried the victims in Saddleworth Moor.

Who Was Myra Hindley?

Hindley was a serial killer, known for being the brain behind the Moors murder.

Hindley grew up with her grandmother in Manchester, England, and had met Ian Brady, an ex-convict, in 1961.

She had been in prison together with her accomplice, Ian Brady, following a rape and murder case involving five minors – The Moors murder.

Hindley’s brother who witnessed the last murder had alerted the police.

After a court trial, Brady was convicted of three murders and Hindley was convicted of two. The duo were sentenced to life imprisonment.

Since the murders which took place between 1963 and 1965, only the bodies of four of the five victims were discovered. The location of where Keith Bennett,12, was buried remained unknown.

However, a recent excavation, uncovered the body of Kenneth, even though his killers have died.

Hindley died on November 12, 2002, in a West Suffolk hospital, after suffering a respiratory failure; while Brady died in 2017.
