Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 2, 1954, Brown was known as an American soap opera actress.

She was best known for her roles as Nola Reardon on Guiding Light and Iva Snyder on As the World Turns.

Throughout her career, she also directed multiple shows including Gotham the Series, MisGuiding Light, and One Life to Live.

Brown is also credited with directing a TV pilot called “Waterfront” starring Scott Reeves, however, it was never picked up by a network. She reportedly passed away after a “brief illness,” on November 24, 2021, but at this time, it remains unclear what that illness was.

In the said TV series, Tom made his acting debut as Floyd Parker and portrayed the part of Lisa’s on-screen partner from 1982 to 1985.

They were already a couple while filming for Guiding Light as their wedding date is recorded as 10th of October, 1982. But, after being married for almost 10 years, they separated their paths and officially got divorced in the year 1991.

Besides having appeared in the acting industry, he also became involved in Pretty Boy Floyd & the Criminals as a lead vocalist.
