Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has called for a peaceful protest to demand justice for the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba.

In a recent Instagram post, Fabiyi urged his followers to unite and participate in a peaceful demonstration, ignoring any negative comments that might arise.
He emphasized the importance of focusing on the goal of justice rather than distractions from social media.
Fabiyi encouraged the public to attend the next court session for the ongoing coroner’s inquest into Mohbad’s death and to voice their demands.

He suggested that if no significant progress is made, they should use the first anniversary of Mohbad’s death as an opportunity to continue the push for justice.
He emphasized the need for unity and a focused approach, stating that negative comments should not deter their efforts. Fabiyi’s message is clear: stay united and let their voices be heard in a peaceful manner at the court and beyond.
In contrast, Mohbad’s family has expressed opposition to plans to mark the anniversary. They prefer to grieve privately, without reopening old wounds.
