Mackenzie Dern was previously married to Wesley Santos, a professional surfer who began his professional career in 2011. Wesley Tavares dos Santos, known as Wesley Santos or simply Wesley, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a left-back.

Wesley Santos was born on January 21, 1991, in São Vicente, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Wesley Santos is 32 years old as of 2023. The couple got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their daughter Moa in June 2019. However, they separated in 2022.
