Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, popularly known as Brain Jotter, has shed light on his decision to transition away from crossdressing in his skit-making journey, citing sustainability as a key factor in his choice.

The talented skit maker, recognized for his comedic prowess, initially gained traction portraying the character Madam Ogadi. However, in a recent appearance on Channels TV’s program, Rubbin’ Minds, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Brain Jotter revealed the rationale behind his departure from crossdressing.
According to Brain Jotter, the allure of crossdressing initially captivated him, especially as he garnered applause and acclaim for his performances as Madam Ogadi. However, he soon realized that sustaining a career built solely on crossdressing posed significant challenges.
Reflecting on his experience, Brain Jotter explained, “There was a time I was creating content with the character Madam Ogadi in a church, and the audience were applauding my performances. So, it got to my head and it was almost a niche for me. But then I realized that cross-dressing is not sustainable for me.”

He elaborated further, emphasizing that the novelty of crossdressing could wear off quickly, particularly if not executed with exceptional skill and authenticity. Brain Jotter highlighted the incongruity of portraying a female character while visibly maintaining masculine features.
“You can’t be wearing a woman’s clothes with beards,” he remarked, underscoring the inherent challenges of maintaining credibility in such a portrayal.
In a pivot from crossdressing, Brain Jotter disclosed his foray into Nollywood, hinting at forthcoming movie projects slated for release in the coming year. He also revealed his previous ventures into music, showcasing his versatility across different creative domains.
