Jeffrey Neale Jackson is an American politician, attorney, and military officer who has been the representative for North Carolina’s 14th congressional district since 2023. From 2014 to 2022, he represented North Carolina’s 37th Senate district as a Democrat.

Jackson joined the US Army Reserve in 2002. He was a business litigator for Womble Bond Dickinson in Charlotte. Jackson remains a major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the North Carolina Army National Guard.
Jackson voted in support of the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act in March 2024, which surprised many TikTok users given that he used the service often.

Was Jeff Jackson in the military?
In 2002, Jackson was commissioned in the United States Army Reserve and served in the Kandahar Province during the War in Afghanistan.
He continues to serve today as a Major in the Army National Guard. He is currently in his 20th year of military service.
