Judd Matheny, the mayor of Coffee County, Tennessee, tragically passed away at his residence on April 2, 2024, at the age of 53.

He served as a state representative for the 47th district from 2002 to 2018, holding prominent roles such as speaker pro tempore. Following his tenure in the state house, Matheny was elected as the Mayor of Coffee County in 2022.
