Paris FC goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the Player of the Month award in the French Feminine Division 1. This is a significant achievement as she could be the first Nigerian to win this award in the top French women’s league.

One of her standout moments was against Le Havre when she saved a penalty, leading to a 3-2 victory for Paris FC. Her teammate, Ribadeira, scored the winning goal shortly after.
Despite her impressive performances, Nnadozie faces tough competition for the award. She is up against two players from Paris Saint-Germain, Tabitha Chawinga and Grace Geyoro. Chawinga is the league’s top scorer, while Geyoro is the team’s captain.

Nnadozie’s excellent form extends beyond the French league. She has been outstanding for the Nigerian national team, the Super Falcons. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has kept four consecutive clean sheets in her last four games for Nigeria.
