The unveiling took place at a ceremony in Accra, emphasizing a shift from brown and yellow to blue and white attire.
Dr. Adutwum emphasized the need for this transformation, expressing the government’s commitment to providing better education for Ghanaian children.

However, criticism arose from Dr. Clement Apaak, who questioned the allocation of resources towards uniforms instead of addressing essential needs like textbooks and furniture shortages in public schools.
He highlighted the challenges faced by these schools, including outstanding grants vital for their functioning.
This initiative represents the second uniform change under President Akufo-Addo’s administration, reflecting ongoing efforts to revamp the education sector.
Despite criticisms, Dr. Adutwum remains dedicated to improving public schools and ensuring quality education for all Ghanaian children.
