Young Duu Accuses Carter Efe of Non-payment for Collaboration on “Oyinmo”

Rising music artist Young Duu has once again brought attention to the alleged non-payment by skit maker Carter Efe for their collaboration on the song “Oyinmo,” stating that he did not receive any payment for their work together.

During an exclusive interview with HipTV, Young Duu detailed the sequence of events regarding their collaboration. He explained that Carter Efe initially approached him for a joint project involving both a song and a music video. Despite their creative efforts, Young Duu expressed disappointment when several months passed without any financial compensation or acknowledgment from Carter Efe.

Persistently seeking clarification on the payment, Young Duu recounted how he repeatedly contacted Carter Efe for an update on their agreement. However, his efforts were met with promises that were not fulfilled, including an assurance of N500,000 that never materialized.
