The incident, which ignited a public spat, was addressed during an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM. D-Black expressed regret that Medikal chose to address the issue publicly rather than reaching out to him privately. He clarified that he had no malicious intentions and was unaware of Medikal and Fella Makafui’s divorce at the time.
Recounting the event, D-Black explained that Fella Makafui, along with a group of about 20 people, approached him during a cigar party at his club and asked him to light her cigar. After fulfilling her request, she promptly left the scene, leaving D-Black alone.

Medikal, in turn, admitted that the video prompted him to announce his divorce as he wanted to preempt questions about Fella’s whereabouts. He confessed that his reaction on social media was impulsive and fueled by his emotions at the time.
