Kendrick Lamar took his rivalry with Drake to a new level by performing his diss tracks at a surprise concert in LA. At The Forum in Los Angeles on June 19, 2024, Kendrick Lamar sang ‘Not Like Us’ and ‘Euphoria,’ songs that target Drake, multiple times to an enthusiastic crowd.

Instead of rapping the original line from his diss track “Euphoria,” he substituted it with a demand: “Give me Tupac’s ring back, and I might give you a little respect.”

Billboard reports that Drake purchased Tupac’s ring for $1 million at an auction in 2023 and has often shown it off, including in his own diss track’s music video titled ‘Family Matters.’

The ring in question is a pricey piece of jewelry that’s said to have been worn by 2Pac on his left ring finger during his last public appearance before his tragic death.
Lamar’s comments follow Drake’s use of AI to include verses from 2pac and Snoop Dogg in his diss track ‘Taylormade Freestyle,’ where he criticized Lamar. As a tribute to one of his idols, 2pac, Lamar performed ‘California Love’ with Dr. Dre at the concert.
