While the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Abdoulaye Doucoure, and James Tarkowski have begun preparations for the 2024-25 season, Jarrad Branthwaite’s return has been delayed.
Jarrad Branthwaite, who had a standout season with Everton, is currently the subject of transfer speculation.

Manchester United have shown strong interest, submitting a new bid for him. Amid these ongoing transfer talks, Branthwaite has yet to rejoin his teammates at Finch Farm.
This delay is not unique to Jarrad Branthwaite. No.1 goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is also absent due to his involvement in Euro 2024 with England.
Similarly, Amadou Onana and Vitalii Mykolenko are still on international duty.
Everton manager Sean Dyche is keen to integrate all players as soon as possible, but the uncertainty surrounding Branthwaite’s future has put his pre-season plans on hold.
