Wataru Endo joined Liverpool from Stuttgart for around £16 million last August and quickly proved his worth.
Wataru Endo was brought in to provide midfield depth following the sales of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson and became a crucial part of the team as he adapted to Premier League football.

Despite no previous links suggesting Endo might leave Liverpool this summer, Marseille’s bid came as a surprise. Marseille offered €14 million for Wataru Endo but the deal was turned down by Liverpool. for some reasons.
Firstly, Liverpool isn’t actively looking to move Endo on. Secondly, the timing of Marseille’s bid doesn’t align well with Liverpool’s current market strategy and availability of replacements.
Lastly, the needs of head coach Arne Slot’s squad are such that losing Endo now would be detrimental without an immediate and suitable replacement.
