The country music singer, who faces three felony charges following an incident at Eric Church’s bar, was initially set to appear in a Nashville court on August 15 2024. The trial has now been rescheduled to December 12.
Wallen’s legal troubles stem from an incident in April 2024 at Chief’s Bar, owned by fellow country music star Eric Church.
According to police reports, Wallen allegedly threw a chair from the rooftop bar, which narrowly missed two officers standing below. The chair fell approximately three feet from where the officers were positioned.

Video footage showed Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof,” with witnesses reporting that he laughed afterward.
Wallen faces charges of disorderly conduct, endangerment to the public, and three counts of reckless endangerment. Each felony charge carries a potential prison term of one to two years, totaling up to six years if served consecutively.
Criminal defense attorney David Raybin revealed that while Wallen could theoretically face up to six years in prison, it is unlikely that the sentences will be served consecutively.
The complexity of the case is heightened by the proximity of the chair to the officers and Wallen’s high-profile status.
