When it comes to Shawn Mendes and Hailey Bieber, it is quite difficult to put a name to it. It is hard to know if they were friends or more than friends. However, Shawn once mentioned that at one point they were romantically involved.

However, in an interview, Shawn mentioned that “I don’t even wanna put a title on it,” he explained. “I think it was more of a zone of limbo.” One thing remains certain though. These two had history.

Shawn Mendes and Hailey Bieber started chatting sometime in October, 2013. She reportedly tweeted at the “Stitches” singer saying, “Hey Shawn Mendes, let’s date so you can sing to me all day. I’m joking but not really..”. To which Shawn replied in November of that same year saying, “Just finding out now that @haileybaldwin tweeted at me!”.

And since then it seems these two have been involved. They have been seen attending several parties together and they even attended the 2018 Met Gala, five months before Hailey got engaged to Justin Bieber.
