On the other hand, George Wilson “Doddie” Weir OBE is a Scottish former rugby union player who played as a lock. Wilson was born on July 4, 1970, in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Wilson studied at Daniel Stewart’s and Melville College before moving to Scottish Agricultural College from 1988 to 1991 to obtain a higher national diploma.

On the International level, Wilson made 61 international appearances for the Scotland national team. He obtained a total of 19 points for the team. After his playing career, he occasionally appears on the BBC as part of the half-time analysis during Scotland matches.
