Suga Parents
Not much is known about Suga’s parents, but his parents were initially not in support of his career.
It was his passion for music that helped push him forward.
“They strongly opposed it for about half a year. My father is a very strict person and since my parents suffered a lot, they didn’t want their own children to suffer too. They wanted their children to become civil servants and live stable lives”, Suga once said.
Suga’s parents went to see him perform live with BTS a few years after their debut. When Suga saw them in the audience, he broke down crying, bowing to them.
Since then, Suga’s parents have wholeheartedly supported his career as a musician, writer, and producer.
The artist went on to create solo music, collaborate with the American artist named Halsey, and win dozens of awards with his boys in BTS.
