Che Guevara Cause Of Death

Che Guevara, a socialist revolutionary and guerilla leader, was executed by the Bolivian army on October 9, 1967, at the age of 39. Bolivian forces aided by the US military caught Guevara on October 8 while fighting his band of guerillas in Bolivia and executed him the next day.

Why Was Che Guevara Executed?

Che’s death is attributed to his anti-imperialism and revolutionary activism. He is accused, among other things, of ordering the deaths of hundreds of people in Cuban prisons during the revolution.

Guevara resigned from his position in the Cuban administration in April 1965, reportedly due to disagreements with Castro over the country’s economic and foreign policy. Guevara subsequently vanished from Cuba, traveled to Africa, and returned to Bolivia, where he was assassinated.
