Are Maisie and Sophie still friends?

Maisie Williams was a guest on the Table Manners podcast earlier this week when she discussed her bond with Sophie Turner.

Fans have been concerned that the pair, who have been best friends since meeting as children on the set of Game of Thrones, are no longer speaking after Sophie’s wedding photos revealed no sign of her former co-star, despite Sophie previously confirming that Maisie was supposed to be the maid of honor.

Despite the fact that Maisie did not mention her present connection with Sophie, she did state that the X-Men actress was her “favorite person” on the set of the fantasy series, explaining:

“She played my sister so we were like sisters. We got the role at the same time and we grew up on the show together and it was so amazing to have another person who was going through it at the same time because I think I just would have, it would have been too much otherwise.”
