Clint Newton is also a former United States international rugby league footballer who played as a second-row and lock.
Clint Newton played for the Newcastle Knights, Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers in the NRL, Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League, New South Wales Country and the United States at representative level as well as also having a stint in rugby union for Avoca Beach Rugby Club on the Central Coast, NSW.
Clint Newton represented the United States in their 2013 Rugby League World Cup campaign.

For his personal life, Clint Newton is known to have dated Jennifer Hawkins, an Australian model, television presenter and beauty queen best known for being crowned Miss Universe Australia and later the same year Miss Universe 2004.
Jennifer Hawkins was the host of Australia’s Next Top Model, and was brand ambassador for Lovable Intimates, Mount Franklin Lightly Sparkling and Range Rover, and formerly the face of Australian department store Myer.
