Joseph Harry Guy Carbonneau is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, coach and executive in the National Hockey League.

He was also the president of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Chicoutimi Saguenéens.
Carbonneau began his hockey career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.
Carbonneau was selected 44th overall in 1979 after scoring 141 points with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.
He won 3 Selke Trophies and 3 Stanley Cups over his 19-year career. He was a 5-time 20-goal scorer and reached the 40-point mark in 8 seasons.
Carbonneau retired in 2000 with 260 goals and 663 points.
After serving as an assistant coach to Michel Therrien with the Canadiens from 2000 to 2002, Carbonneau moved back to the Dallas Stars where he worked as an assistant general manager.
