Johnny Depp is a well-known actor who has become a household name.
Depp has played several characters with distinctive accents, but none as well-known as Captain Jack Sparrow. He perfected his English accent for the film franchise, and it appears that he has kept it.

The dominant accent in most of his interviews is British, but he has been known to switch between other accents such as Australian and Irish. Many people mistake Depp for a British actor due to his odd accent mix.

Depp was born in Kentucky but spent the majority of his childhood in Florida. In his early films, such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Depp’s accent was unmistakably American.

Depp can perfectly imitate an English or Scottish accent for a role, but his natural accent has faded over time. Several theories have been proposed to explain why his accent seems to shift between British, Scottish, and even Australian accents.

Some believe he embodies his characters so fully and has worked with these accents so frequently that he has forgotten how to speak in his natural American accent.

Interesting fact, but I don’t see how that affects his accident.

Johnny Depp’s middle finger was severed when Amber Heard was having one of her tantrums. She threw a bottle of vodka, the bottle hit Johnny’s finger severing the end of it with the bottle.
