Who is John Virgo’s ex-wife Avril Virgo?

John Virgo is married to Avril Virgo. They have a son together called Gary. He separated from Avril in 1991, after eight years together. There isn’t much information about Avril Virgo as she has tried to keep herself away from the media.

John is an English former professional snooker player and more recently a snooker commentator and TV personality.

In 1993, he entered the qualifying stages of the Grand Prix and the UK Championship but failed to qualify for the main events, losing both times in round seven.

As part of his exhibition performance, Virgo performed trick shots and comedic impressions of another snooker player. During the 1981 World Championship, he performed some of his impressions, including Alex Higgins, Steve Davis and Ray Reardon.
