Bianca Williams has criticised Cressida Dick’s public efforts to discredit and undermine her complaints after the sprinter and her partner were handcuffed during a stop and search.

It has also been reported that five metropolitan Police Officers will place a gross misconduct hearing after the couple were stopped by police while travelling with their three-year-old son in Maida Vale, west London, on July 4, 2020.

Bianca has accused the force of racially profiling her and her partner. Three weeks after the search, the then Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Cressida Dick said she did not accept that the video of the incident revealed racism.
In a statement released, Bianca said she felt vindicated by the Independent Office of Police Conducts decision following Dame Cressida’s effort to discredit and undermine her complaints, and to trivialise the experiences of black people in the UK and how they are policed.
