Are Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams friends?

For the past decade, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka have been fierce rivals. They’ve competed in Grand Slams, Olympic Games, and year-end Championships.

Despite competing against each other, the Grand Slam champions and former world number ones are great friends and have supported each other through difficult times.

Azarenka and Williams are constantly singing each other’s praises. Williams claims she sought advice from Azarenka during her pregnancy, while Azarenka praised Williams for her support during her ongoing custody battle with her child’s father, which kept her away from tennis since  June 2017.
