Miss Tic passed away on Sunday, May 22 at the age of 66. According to the statement released by her family, she died after a brief illness.

Miss.Tic was an artist from France. Her stencils of dark-haired women seen in the streets of Paris and associated with poetry made her famous.
Miss. Tic is regarded as one of the pioneers of stencil art, and her enigmatic female images have become a familiar sight in Paris.

In 1997, she was briefly detained following reports of vandalism to public property. Her work, however, was eventually presented in galleries in France and abroad. She’s also worked with big houses including Kenzo and Louis Vuitton.

Miss Tic kept her personal life private. There is no information on whether she was married or if she had any children.
Miss. Tic majored in applied arts and performed in street theatre. In an interview with AFP in 2011, she said, “I had a background in street theatre, and I liked this idea of street art.”
“I’m going to write poems,” I thought at first. Then, with these poems, ‘we need visuals.’ I began with self-portraits before moving on to other ladies “she added.
