Bret Robert Boone is a former second baseman in Major League Baseball. Boone was a three-time All-Star, a four-time Gold Glove winner, and a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner throughout his career.

He is a third-generation professional athlete. Aaron Boone, the New York Yankees’ manager, is his brother.

Boone began his career with the Seattle Mariners, where he established the club mark for home runs by a second baseman in a season but was traded to the Cincinnati Reds alongside Erik Hanson the next year.

Bret Boone’s best years were spent with the Seattle Mariner, where he remains a fan favourite. In 1,780 games over 14 Major League seasons, he had a.266 batting average, 252 home runs, and 1,021 RBI.

What does Bret Boone do now?

Since retiring from the MLB, Bret has been focusing and spending more time with his family. Boone also participates in charitable activities and gives public speeches on occasion.

In 2016, he wrote “Home Game: Big-League Stories from My Life in Baseball’s First Family,” a book chronicling his experiences before, during, and after his professional baseball career.
