Is JT Gasso related to Patty Gasso?

DJ Gasso is in his second season on the Utah staff in 2022, serving as the team’s hitting coach. He joined the staff in June 2020 after spending the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at Oklahoma.

In his two seasons on the staff, the Sooners were national runners-up in 2019 and ranked No. 4 in the nation when the 2020 season was halted.

During Gasso’s tenure, the Sooners have won five Big 12 regular-season titles and three Big 12 Tournament crowns while making five Women’s College World Series appearances and winning three national titles.

JT Gasso is the son of Oklahoma head coach Patty Gasso, he is married to the former Andrea Harrison, a former two-time All-American at UCLA. The couple has two young children, Joseph and Grace.

Gasso holds an associate’s degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College, a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from East Central University, and a master’s degree in administrative leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
