Netflix’s Love Death and Robots is a collection of shorts that surround three key subjects: love, death, and robots.

The third season premiered in May 2022 and is made up of Mielgo’s return to the series after winning an Emmy for his 2019 episode, “The Witness”.

“Jibaro” follows the strange but deadly attraction between a siren and a deaf knight who is immune to her supernatural charms.

The two become obsessed with each other for selfish reasons, which leads to disastrous results.

Is Jibaro animated? Jibaro is animated and it utilizes a variety of stunning animation styles.

However, one of the episodes in the show’s third season “Jibaro,” looks like it could be partially live-action – but it’s not.

It was directed by Alberto Mielgo, who previously won an Emmy for an equally stunning episode in Love, Death & Robots volume 1 titled “The Witness,”

Jibaro is one of the show’s most ambitious episodes, tackling a number of the most difficult aspects of animation to beautiful effect.
