American rapper, Rico Recklezz, is still very much alive and well.

There were rumours some time ago that the rapper was found dead in a alleyway.

But these rumours have been debunked.

The rapper was released from prison in February 2022, after spending roughly a year behind bars.

Why Was Rico Recklezz Arrested?

Rico was sentenced to a three-year jail term in 2021 in connection with a gun charge at a prison in his home state.

Rico had released a photo of his mug shot on social media and assured his fans that he will be home sooner than expected.

The rapper was scheduled to be released from the Statesville Correctional Center in February of 2024, but was released in February 2022.

He was released together with his fellow rapper, Ewol Samo, who was arrested for illegal possession of weapons, and was supposed to serve a 12-year jail term.

Rico came to fame between 2014 and 2018 with his Rico Don’t Shoot Em franchise and his single “Tooka.”

He later released his Big Recklezz mixtape, which featured the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, and Lil Yachty.
