Nana Aba Anamoah

Nana Aba Anamoah was born on 19th June 1978 to Mr and Mrs Anamoah. The eloquent broadcaster is both a Fante and an Ewe. Her father the late Mr. Kwesi Anamoah was a Hindu man who thought and brought young Nana Aba up the Hindu way. Upon ageing and knowing right and wrong, Nana Aba left that faith upon realizing she doesn’t belong to the Hindu religion and later became a Christian. She has a degree in banking and finance from the Institute of Management and Public Administration.

Her career, however, seemed to veer off a different path when she found herself in media where she has been doing pretty well for herself. Nana is one of the hottest TV personalities to ever grace the Ghanaian screens.  She was once an employee with TV3 until her suspension and resignation thereof she was the host of the ‘Diva Show’. She left TV3 after her controversial photo-shopped picture where she claimed to be at a game featuring Manchester United hit the internet. The picture caused so many rumbles online and she was suspended from the network. She later moved to GH One where she works today. She is currently the Manageress of GH One TV. Her success in this industry speaks for itself as she has won several awards including TV personality of the year, TV news anchor of the year, RTP TV Female Newscaster of the Year (2017) and RTP TV Female Presenter of the Year (2017). Owing to Nana’s good grammar and eloquence she is affectionately called ‘Girls Prefect’.  Nana Aba Anamoah had a son with popular Fashionista Osebo when she was still a teenager but they never married.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council on November 27th, 2019, appointed Nana Aba Anamoah as a member of the Women’s Premier League committee.
