Her debut album, Be Nobody, followed and was certified platinum in the United States. Harmonium (2004) and Heroes & Thieves (2005) are two of her subsequent albums (2007).
In November 2012, Carlton released the Christmas EP Hear the Bells, and on October 23, 2015, she released her fifth studio album, Liberman.
