Late Finnish actor Vesa-Matti Lori, during his lifetime, had five children – Joonas L, Jenni Loiri, Ukko Loiri, Jani Loiri and Sampo Loiri.

His son, Joonas Loiri was born on April 17, 1982 in Espoo, Finland. He passed away in 2019. He was a producer and director, known for At Dawn They Sleep (2013), Fighting For (2014) and Uuno Epsanjassa (1985).

He is best known for playing the role of Uuno Turhapuro in aout 20 movies between 1973 and 2004.
Lori’s family relocated to North Haaga when Loiri was a child He made his acting debut in 1962.
Loiri had a number of collaborations with comedian-director-producer Spede Pasanen. They had worked on Noin seitsemän veljestä.
The Uuno Turhapuro persona is one of Finland’s most successful movie-series.
Lori also starred in the film Shadow of the Eagle. Out of all his movies, six of them ranks high on the top 20 list of the highest-grossing domestic films in Finland.
He died on August 10, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was aged 77.
