James Joseph “Whitey” Bulger Jr. was an American organized crime boss who led the Winter Hill Gang in the Winter Hill neighborhood of Somerville, Massachusetts, a city directly northwest of Boston.

Who Is Lindsey Cyr?

Lindsey Cyr is the former wife of former South Boston crime boss, James Bulger –who was found dead while serving a life sentence.

Lindsey’s former spouse was killed in his cell at the maximum security facility in West Virginia, shortly after being transferred there from a Florida jail. He was 89 years old.

He had spent 16 years as one of the nation’s most wanted fugitives before he was captured in Santa Monica, Calif., in 2011.

Cyr only had one son, Douglas Glenn Cyr, who was born whilst Bulger was climbing the ranks of the Winter Hill gang in South Boston. Douglas died when he was just 6 years old after coming down with Reye’s Syndrome which came with swellings in his brain.
