Jeurys Familia Mojica is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball.

Familia was signed by the Mets as a non-drafted free agent in 2007. He made his MLB debut in 2012, and became the team’s closer in 2015.
The 32-year-old player who bats and throws right was named an MLB All-Star in 2016.
On August 9, 2022, Familia signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox. He was added to Boston’s major-league roster on August 13.
Prior to joining the Boston Red Sox, he played in MLB for Oakland Athletics and Philadelphia Phillies.
