Sarah Hefner: Who Is Jeremy Hefner’s Wife?

Sarah Grace Hefner is the wife of Jeremy Scott Hefner, an American former professional baseball pitcher and pitching coach for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Sarah is a personal trainer and they have been maried for years. Sarah and Jeremy have two children; a son, Jace (born in 2010), and a daughter, Jaylee (born in 2012).

There’s not much information available on Sarah Hefner. However, her hubby attended Seminole State College for two years before transferring to Oral Roberts University.

In his freshman year, he was 5–4 with a 4.03 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 46 innings. In his sophomore year, he was 4–1 with a 4.25 ERA and 49 Ks in 36 innings pitched.

He was selected by The New York Mets in the 46th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball draft; however, he opted not to sign. He was next drafted by the Mets in the 48th round of the 2005 Major League Baseball draft, but again did not sign.

Hefner’s career span over two decades and he announced his retirement as a player on January 17, 2017. He finished his career at the St. Louis Cardinals.

After retiring as a player, Hefner joined the Minnesota Twins as an advance scout from 2017 through 2018. Hefner was promoted to assistant pitching coach for the 2019 season.

On December 8, 2019, Hefner was hired to be the pitching coach for the New York Mets.
