WAOW anchor, Neena Pacholke’s personal life was kept very private but it is believed that she took her own life. Her death was reported by close sources and relatives on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

WAOW announced that they were extremely devastated by the death of their cherished anchor.
“We are absolutely devastated to share with you all that Neena passed away suddenly. Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts,” the station announced.

Her sister, Kaitlynn Pacholske also shared a heartfelt message on Facebook;
“Thank you all for your stories. As her sister, I have read every single one and I love to see everyone she impacted. My sister was the most incredible person in this world and I am shattered. I know she loved her job and loved every one of her views,” she posted.
Wausau Mayor, Katie Rosenberg also tweeted about the death;
“Gutted for Neena’s family and friends and the whole @WAOW team. So, so sorry for this difficult time.“
