Putz made his ATP debut the 2014 Wimbledon Championships, in which he was able to qualify for the second round, after defeating Teymuraz Gabashvili in the first round.
Since 2017, Pütz has represented his country in the Davis Cup and qualified for the semifinals in 2021.
At the 2022 Australian Open quarterfinal, Putz made it to top 10 and qualified for the quarterfinals, partnering with Venus.
It was the first time he would be ranking top 10.
The right-handed player has been to the Olympics and has won $1,420,931 worth of prize money so far in his career.
