Herman Edwards Jr. is an American football coach and former cornerback who was, most recently, the head football coach at Arizona State. He played in the National Football League for ten seasons, primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The resident of Tempe, Arizona, Herman Edwards Jr. reportedly earns a salary of around $3.5 million per year, and as of 2020, he reportedly has an estimated net worth of over $10 million.

Edward was appointed the head coach of the Arizona State football team on December 3, 2017. He earned his first win on September 1, 2018, against UTSA. His team won against the 15th-ranked Michigan State Spartans.

Herm Edwards Jr. was born on April 27, 1954, in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey to Herman Edwards Sr. and Martha Edwards.

The 68-year-old Edwards initially took the ASU job prior to the 2018 season. He finishes his tenure in Tempe with a 26–20 record over four-plus seasons. Edwards previously served as head coach of the NFL’s Jets and Chiefs. The Sun Devils are 1-2 with a win over Northern Arizona and losses to Oklahoma State and EMU.
