Katie Couric’s daughter Ellie Monahan got married on July 4, 2021, at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, New York.

Ellie Monahan and her partner Mark Dobrosky met at Yale University when she was a freshman and he was a sophomore. The duo was then set up by their friends, who were dating at the time, and they quickly hit it off.

In February 2019, Ellie Monahan and Mark Dobrosky got engaged during a weekend trip to Ojai, California.

Katie revealed in an Instagram post that Mark proposed with the engagement ring given to her by her late husband and Ellie’s father, Jay Monahan, who died of colon cancer in 1998.

Ellie Monahan and Mark Dobrosky walked down the aisle on July 4, 2021, at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, New York. Their wedding was witnessed by more than 200 fully vaccinated guests.

Following their wedding, the couple went on a mini-moon to Portland and Chebeague Island, Maine.
