Tony Britton
Tony Britton was an actor who starred in various movies as far back as the 1950s; and TV shows such as Don’t Wait Up and Robin’s Nest.
Some of his movies include The Day of the Jackal (1973), Night Watch (1973), The People That Time Forgot (1977), Agatha (1979), Countdown to War (1989), and Run for Your Wife (2012).
Tony died on December 22, 2019.

Ruth Britton
Ruth divorced her husband, actor Tony Britton, at a time when Fern was a child.

She raised up her two children as a single mum and had been a brave supporter of their careers.
“So brave and uncomplaining. An army sergeant WW2, beauty queen, teacher, and all woman”, Fern once described her.
Ruth later remarried and moved on with life. She died in 2018, at age 94.
