Jack Burnell-Williams was a Trooper who died on September 28, 2022, after being discovered unresponsive at Hyde Park Barracks shortly before 16:00 BST.

“It is with sadness that we can confirm the death of Trooper Jack Burnell-Williams on 28 September 2022 at Hyde Park Barracks,” an army spokesperson told the publication.
“Our thoughts are with the soldier’s family and friends at this difficult time and we ask that their privacy is respected.”

His death is not being investigated as a homicide. According to reports, he was involved in the arrangements for the late Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral.
Burnell-Williams was present earlier in September 2022 as the Queen’s coffin was drawn from Westminster Abbey through Whitehall, down The Mall, past Buckingham Palace, and to Wellington Arch.
During the national mourning period, he reportedly attended other ceremonial events.
