Anna Kasterova was born on September 21, 1984. She is originally from Zelenograd, Moscow, Russia.
She obtained a degree in Psychology from Moscow State Pedagogical University.
Kasterova is said to have worked as an editor for the channel TNT’s show “Moscow: Instructions for Use”.
She left TNT after a year of working with the channel and joined the RTR TV channel “Russia-2”, where she widely became known. According to reports, she has also worked with companies like BBC and NTV.

Anna’s husband Evgeni Malkin is a Russian professional ice hockey centre and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League.
Malkin began his career with his hometown club Metallurg Magnitogorsk, playing for their junior and senior teams. He was then selected second overall in the 2004 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, though an international transfer dispute delayed the start of his NHL career until 2006.
