Raymond Joseph Wieczorek was a political figure from Manchester, New Hampshire. He was born on December 9, 1928, in New Britain, Connecticut, in the United States.

He was the city’s mayor from 1990 to 2000 and represented New Hampshire’s Executive Council District 4 from 2002 to 2012.
Between 1973 and 1976, Wieczorek was the director and president of the Manchester Scholarship Foundation.
In 1984, he was appointed commissioner of the Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority and served as its chairman from 1986 to 1989.

In the 1990s, he was mayor of Manchester for five years. He was elected to his first term in 1989, defeating incumbent Democrat Emile Beaulieu, who was running for re-election.
He is best known for redeveloping the Amoskeag Millyard, developing the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, converting the city budget from a calendar year to a fiscal year, and establishing a downtown Manchester civic center.
