Hunter Henry was born to Mark and Jenny Henry, in Little Rock, Arkansas. His family relocated to the Atlanta area in the summer of 2000 because of his father’s profession.

Prior to returning to Little Rock for his freshman year of high school, Hunter Henry spent four years at Pulaski Academy in Little Rock.

Henry participated in the football team’s offensive tackle, wide receiver, and defensive end positions as a freshman.

In the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers selected Hunter Henry from Arkansas, where he played college football.

Before joining the Patriots in 2021, Hunter Henry played five seasons for the Chargers.
