Maya Rudolph is an American actress and comedian known for her comic roles as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2000-2007 and for appearing in films such as Away We Go, Bridesmaids, Grown Ups and MacGruber.

In 2018, she performed in advertisements for Ruby Tuesday and Seventh Generation. In 2019, she appeared as the mother in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. In July 2022, she appeared as the star of Loot, an Apple TV+.
Maya aside from singing was also a backing singer and briefly a keyboardist in the band the Rentals, with whom she toured. She is in a Prince cover band called Princess with her friend, Gretchen Lieberum.
