Warrick Giddey is an Australian basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach for the Melbourne Tigers women’s team of NBL1 South.

Warrick Giddey was born on 16 December 1967, in Coledale, New South Wales. He is an Australian by nationality.

Warrick Giddey played 449 games in the National Basketball League (NBL) for the Illawarra Hawks and Melbourne Tigers. He also won two NBL championships as a member of the Tigers in 1993 and 1997.

Warrick Giddey’s wife, Kim, played for the Tigers in the Women’s National Basketball League. Warrick Giddey is the father of two children.

Warrick Giddey has a son, Josh Giddey who plays basketball for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association. His daughter, Hannah plays college basketball for the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

Josh Giddey became the youngest Australian in NBL history to record a triple-double on 26 April 2021 when he recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 93–77 loss to the New Zealand Breakers.
