State Rep. Quentin Williams was a Connecticut state lawmaker who was killed in a wrong-way crash involving two vehicles.

The Connecticut state lawmaker lost his life in the early hours of Thursday, Jan. 4, 2023 in a fiery two-car crash which occured at 12:48 a.m. on Route 9 in Cromwell.

According to State Police, Williams’ car was traveling in the left lane on the southbound side of Route 9 near exit 18 when a vehicle going north struck his car head on, leading to Williams’ car bursting into flames.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver who is yet to be identified, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
