Chatri Sityodtong was born and raised in Thailand, with Japanese heritage on his mother’s side and Thai heritage on his father’s side. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University in 1994.

Sityodtong pursued and obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1999. Alongside his career as an entrepreneur and martial arts instructor, Sityodtong also works as a philanthropist and provides mentorship and guidance to various organizations and individuals.
Sityodtong and former ESPN Star Sports senior executive Victor Cui. founded ONE Championship on July 14, 2011, and serves as the CEO of the company.
ONE Championship is a Singapore-based company that promotes combat sports events featuring a variety of disciplines, including MMA, submission grappling, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Lethwei.
